Visiting this website
When you visit the website, our web server processes technically necessary data (in particular IP address, date and time, page requested, browser) in server logs. This serves the secure and stable operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); the logs are deleted after a short period. The website is hosted by a provider in the European Union.
We use no analytics or marketing cookies and no tracking services. Fonts and images are served from our own server. We only set technically necessary cookies for your waitlist profile (after you have opened your personal link), for the instructor pages and for the administration area; they serve the secure session only. The course area sets no cookie.
Course requests and waitlist
When you submit a course or waitlist request via the form, we process your details (in particular name, title, date of birth, contact and address data, professional information, requested dates and — voluntarily — your interest profile and dietary or allergy information) to handle your request, to organise and run the course, for certification through the European societies and for the related communication. The legal basis is pre-contractual measures and contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); dietary or allergy information is processed only with your consent.
To protect the form against abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.). Technical characteristics of your browser are transmitted to Cloudflare to detect automated access; a transfer to the USA is possible and is based on standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
E-mails
We send confirmations, invitations, course information and invoices from the association's mailboxes via technical service providers that are contractually bound as processors to comply with data protection. Your data is never passed on for advertising. We only inform you about new dates if you explicitly ask us to.
Course area
Each course date has a protected course area with materials and practical information. Only confirmed participants receive access via a personal link.
Map view
On some pages we can show the venue on a Google Maps map. The map only loads when you click “Load map”; only then are your IP address and browser data transmitted to Google (Google Ireland Ltd., with a possible transfer to the USA). Without a click there is no connection to Google. The links “Route in Google Maps” and “Route in Apple Maps” lead to these providers' websites.
Retention
We store your data as long as necessary for organising the courses, documenting course participation and meeting statutory retention obligations (for example seven years for invoices). Waitlist requests are paused after twelve months without confirmation. You can unsubscribe from the waitlist at any time via your personal link; this deactivates your waitlist profile but does not delete it. You can request the deletion of your data by email to info@
Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection; you can withdraw any consent at any time. Please contact info@
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at).
